Greetings from the Faraway Realm

Nathaniel Wonderful’s new website
Hail, wanderers of words, and welcome to my humble abode, where imagination entwines with harsh reality.
I am Nathaniel Wonderful, a literary fantasy author, translator, and humble trans man, born in the Czech Republic, where my first tales took root.
My path has wound through three continents, from Europe to Asia and Central America. Since 2020, I have resided in Costa Rica’s Cordillera Central with my wife and co-author, Raine Stonewall. In the near future, we plan to return to Japan, where I spent three years after completing secondary school.
I have self-published five literary fantasy books in my native tongue, including two ongoing series: Divine Tragicomedy and Lost in Time, set in a realm of morally grey souls and slow-burning fates, meant for niche audience of deep thinkers.
In April 2023, I left the rigid Czech market behind and embarked on a new journey: reshaping my work for the Western world in British English. I am currently translating On the Edge of Darkness, the opening of Lost in Time, and rewriting the Inscrutable Ways of Fate, the first volume of Divine Tragicomedy, with plans for Japanese translations to share these tales far and wide.
This page serves as a tapestry of my craft—offering glimpses of my books, thoughts on literature, introductions to fellow writers, and reflections on my creative path. Most content will be written in English, with Japanese and Spanish to follow, and perhaps Czech, should time permit.
I am eager to share this odyssey with you. To spark our dialogue, I ask: What are your thoughts on the current state of the book market?
Thank you for entering my realm. Together, let us conjure a world where dreams become reality and the impossible becomes possible.
Yours truly,
Nathaniel Wonderful
